July 17, 2025 - Level Infinite announced today that the GODDESS OF VICTORY: NIKKE Summer Season update is available now! The update brings waves of new content, including the new story event BOOM! THE GHOST!, new NIKKE characters, along with rerun characters, new and returning swimsuit costumes, a new mini game, and other reward events.

The Summer Season introduces BOOM! THE GHOST!, a mysterious new story event where Commanders investigate the Utopia, a luxurious, abandoned cruise ship adrift at sea. The ghost ship retains power, so the NIKKEs set out to explore it for a new power source. What begins as a routine exploration quickly escalates into a supernatural mystery as inexplicable phenomena plague the ship, forcing the team to develop ghost-hunting equipment.

- New Characters:
- SSR Dorothy: Serendipity - Drawn to the mysterious cruise ship by a faint silhouette in a photo, Dorothy embarks on a mission to find her precious wings, Pinne. She is an Attacker who fires powerful enhanced bullets after hitting targets a certain number of times with her pellets. Her Burst Skill boosts her attack speed, allowing her to deal more damage.
- SSR Elegg: Boom and Shock - Intrigued by the abandoned Utopia, Elegg sets out with her BOOMbastic swimsuit with a mission to unearth the secrets behind this enigmatic vessel. She is an Attacker who strengthens the attack power of herself and her allies by capturing enemy ghosts.
- Limited-time recruitment of rerun characters: SSR Sakura: Bloom in Summer and SSR Rosanna: Chic Ocean.
- Summer Swimsuit Costumes: Three brand-new swimsuit costumes are available, along with the return of four popular swimsuit costumes from past events.
- New “BFG Clean Up” Mini Game: This puzzle game has players efficiently organizing the BFG dust box.
The NIKKE Summer Season continues with a series of IRL global events:
- Doro Family Summer Tour: This week the Doro Family embarks on a one-week worldwide voyage, visiting New York City, Osaka, Seoul, Taipei and Bangkok. Kicking off from Staten Island, New York City, the giant 10-meter-tall Doro Cruise Ship will appear on the Hudson river starting at 2pm ET on July 18 and again at 9am ET on July 19. Local fans who share a picture of the Doro Cruise (X, YouTube or Tik Tok) with #NIKKEdoro have a chance to win limited-edition Doro merchandise.

- NIKKE Orchestral Concert: Melodies of Victory, NIKKE's first-ever orchestral concert are available now on NIKKE’s YouTube channel.
- Anime NYC: NIKKE will attend Anime NYC from August 21st to 24th at the Javits Center in New York, featuring a dedicated booth offering a wide range of official merchandise.
