New Details and Video for the Upcoming Game SkyVerse Released

Devlog Highlights Features and Combat Mechanics

SkyVerse, the upcoming sandbox RPG set in a world of floating islands, has just released its latest devlog on Steam, offering an in-depth look at the game’s highly anticipated combat mechanics. Following the first devlog, which introduced players to the biomes of SkyVerse, this new update dives into the action-packed features players can expect when battling enemies, exploring dungeons, and gathering epic loot.

The devlog and accompanying Youtube video reveal a diverse arsenal of weapons, from one-handed swords and powerful two-handed blades to nimble daggers, ranged bows, and magic staves. Players can craft or loot weapons, each with unique attributes such as damage, critical hit chances, and durability. Combat in SkyVerse emphasizes strategy with stamina management and versatile attack options, including combos, heavy attacks, and movement-based strikes.

In addition to weapons, gear like helmets, gloves, and boots will play a crucial role in survival, with enchantments adding special effects such as freezing enemies or causing bleed damage. The devlog teases more surprises, including two unannounced weapon types and the upcoming Kickstarter campaign. In addition to further expanding SkyVerse’s development, the campaign will offer many interesting rewards for all supporters!

Wishlist the game and discover the full devlog on Steam, and follow SkyVerse on social media (TikTok, X. Instagram) or join the Discord server for updates on the game’s progress and the exciting journey ahead!

About Bohemia Interactive

Our story began with our first game, Arma: Cold War Assault, which was released in 2001. Developed by just a handful of people, this PC-exclusive title became a massive success. It sold well over a million copies, received numerous industry awards, and was praised by critics and players alike. Since then, we've grown from a ragtag bunch of garage devs to an international family of over 350 professionals – working on Arma 3, DayZ, Ylands, Vigor, the Enfusion engine, and various other projects. Our ambition: to make games that act as platforms for people to explore, create, and connect.
